FAIR DAILY OPENING HOURS
What hours are the Fair open each day?
The Brazos Valley Fair and Rodeo will be open the following hours to the general public:
Friday, October 19, 2018 - 4:00 pm to Midnight
Saturday, October 20, 2018 - 10:00 am to Midnight
Sunday, October 21, 2018 - 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm
How do I volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer at the Fair! We are always looking for additional volunteers and can accommodate large groups or individuals. Please see the Volunteer page under the Get Involved tab at the top of the website for more information on the array of volunteer opportunities.
How do I get there?
The Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo is located in Bryan, Texas at 5827 Leonard Road. We are located just East of the intersection of Highway 47 & Leonard Road.
If coming in from FM 2818 go west on Leonard Road to the Expo Complex.
If you are traveling from out of town to the Fair we are North of Houston, come into town on Hwy 6. We are South of Dallas, and East of Austin and San Antonio. Feel free to call the office (979)821-1450 if you have additional questions on directions.
Where do I park?
Parking is conveniently located around the Brazos County Expo Complex and is FREE. There is handicapped parking available for those who may need it.
Who is eligible to exhibit in the Competitive Events Department at the Fair?
Eligibility in the Junior Livestock Shows is available to all Juniors in the State of Texas that are in good standing according to our General Rules.
Eligibility in the Open Show is available to any exhibitor based on the General Rules of the Fair and the rules of the Breed Association with which the exhibit is affiliated.
Youth Western Art Show, Photography, Quilt and Canned and Baked Good Junior Exhibitors must be from within the Fair's 8 county region (Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Milam, Washington and Robertson Counties).
All contests open to adults (ages 18 & Older) are open to everyone.
When and where can I enter my child in Mutton Bustin'
Mutton Bustin Sign-Ups will be held September 22nd 2018 from 10:00am to noon at Producers Cooperative in Bryan. Please see the full details of the Mutton Bustin' Contest in our Rodeo department link for additional details.
How much are tickets and where and when can I purchase them.
Ticket Sales open in July each year. Online tickets may be purchased and special offers are offered online in the months leading up to the Fair. Tickets may also be purchased beginning August 1st in the Main office of the Brazos County Expo Complex.
2017 Ticket Prices are as follows -
Friday, October 20 - $10 (early bird special), $12 after October 15.
Saturday, October 21 - $18 (early bird special), $25 after October 15
Sunday, October 22 - $10 (early bird special), $12 after October 15
Carnival Ride wristband vouchers, good for one day unlimited rides are available for $20 until October 15, after October 15 - $25. Special Discounts are posted when tickets go on sale.
