Bryan, TX, December 8, 2011 – The Brazos Valley Fair & Expo recently received an award for their website at the International Association of Fairs & Expos (IAFE) Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The IAFE Convention was held November 27th – December 1st at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. Each year, attendees gather from all across the United States, Canada and Mexico to gain knowledge and insight on the fair industry, and ultimately improve the fair in their local community. This years’ convention also included fairs and guests from Australia and Korea who are active in promoting agriculture and education in their countries.
During the convention awards were presented in numerous categories including Agriculture, Competitive Exhibits and Communications. The Brazos Valley Fair received 3rd place in their division for their website. This division is made up of member fairs with an attendance up to 100,000. A special thanks goes out to Saffire Events, of Austin, and Sideshow Creative, of Bryan, for building the website and creative design that lead to this achievement.
The Brazos Valley Fair & Expo is a brand new, mid-major fair committed to “Showcasing Agricultural, Education and Youth to Enhance our Texas Culture.” The first annual event will be held September 6-9, 2012 and include a carnival, rodeo, junior livestock show, open livestock show, family-friendly exhibits, music and entertainment.
