Junior Ambassador Program

Cultivating Tomorrow’s Leaders Through Agriculture

The Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo Junior Ambassador Program is an exciting leadership opportunity for motivated youth ages 16–20 who are passionate about agriculture, education, and community involvement. Designed to build the next generation of leaders, the program provides hands-on experience in fair operations, event planning, public speaking, and agricultural literacy — all while fostering personal growth and leadership skills.

With the support and partnership of Texas Farm Bureau, the Junior Ambassador Program emphasizes the importance of agricultural awareness and community outreach. Ambassadors will gain a deeper understanding of modern agriculture, the vital role farmers and ranchers play in our lives, and how to effectively communicate those values to the public.

Throughout the year, Junior Ambassadors represent the Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo at public events, assist with fair operations, and serve as positive role models for the community. From educational outreach to hands-on leadership at the Fair, this program provides valuable experiences that inspire confidence, communication, responsibility, and teamwork.

Whether it’s greeting fair guests, supporting livestock shows, working with educational programs, or promoting BVFR through community partnerships, Junior Ambassadors play an essential role in the Fair’s mission to celebrate and support agriculture.

Becoming a Junior Ambassador is more than just volunteering — it’s an opportunity to lead, learn, and make a lasting impact on your community.
