The Public Speaking Competition will be held Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo in Bryan, TX.
This contest is open to all Texas junior exhibitors.
Contestants will speak in a random order over an array of topics that fall into these nine categories, Agribusiness, Agricultural Advocacy/Communications, Agricultural Policy, Agriscience/Agricultural Technology, Animal Science, Agronomy/Horticulture, Natural Resources, Livestock Show Ethics, and Western Heritage.
The top two in each category will move onto the final round and have a chance at becoming the Agriculture Speaking Contest Champion!
