From wild rides to big laughs, our Youth Rodeo is where the next generation of rodeo stars shine! These fun-filled events give local kids the chance to participate in exciting rodeo action, all while keeping western heritage alive. Whether they’re chasing ribbons or holding on for dear life, it’s a must-see part of the fair!

This year’s Youth Rodeo will be held on Saturday, October 17, at 10:00 am as a part of the BVFR kickoff weekend, with a full schedule of event times coming soon.
Please be sure to review all rules and guidelines below to ensure a safe and fun experience for all participants. See y’all at the rodeo!
YOUTH RODEO EVENT DATE/TIME:
Saturday, October 17, 2026 – 10:00 AM
• Contestants must arrive by 9:15 AM
• All participants must sign in by 9:45 AM near the rodeo arena.
ON-LINE REGISTRATION DATES & EVENT LIMITS:
• Registration Opens: July 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM
• Registration Closes: October 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM
• A registration fee per event is required. No refunds will be issued.
o Mutton Bustin' - $30 per entry
o Goat Pulling - $10 per entry
o Stick Horse Race - $5 per entry
• You will receive a general email confirmation for each participant once registration is
complete.
• No on-site registration will be held
• A new registration form will need to be completed for each participant
