The Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo is excited to announce the return of the Welding Build-off Competition! Please see the full rules linked below. Entries will open soon and will close on October 3, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Should you have any questions please contact us at info@brazosvalleyfair.com or call (979) 821-1450.

  • The build-off contest is open to teams that consist of four high school students each.
  • Build-off Entry fee is $250 per team.
  • Entries are open.
  • 2025 Build-off will be a picnic table
  • Build-Off entries close October 3, 2025

2025 Weld-off Competition Entry Form

Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo Weld-Off Competition Team Entry Form
Each team must submit one entry with individuals names listed here.
Team must enter the build-off through this entry form. Payment can be
made online at time of registration or by check, mailed by due date.

Only one entry fee per team.
Weld-Off Entry Fee
If a team enters but cannot compete for any reason they may come to BVFR and pick up their metal and parts no later than October 16, 2023. After that date, the metal and parts become property of the BVFR.

Weld-Off Pay by Check Option
Select this option if you need to be invoiced for your entry and will mail a check by the due date of September 22. Must be postmarked by this date.
